– Season chicken with salt and pepper. Place the trivet inside the inner pot and place the chicken on top of the trivet. If you don’t have a trivet, make a foil rope and wind it around the bottom of the pot.
– If you want to thicken, use the sauté function to cook the sauce down until it's reached the desired consistency. Otherwise, pour off all but one cup of the sauce, return the chicken to the pot and shred with a hand mixer.
