Place sausage links in the air fryer basket in a single layer. For best results, leave a little bit of space in between.
Frozen links:
If links are frozen: cook at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, turning at the halfway point. Edges should be slightly browned. You can use a paper towel to blot away any extra grease, if desired.
Fresh links:
If links are fresh: cook for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F, turning at the halfway point, Edges should be slightly browned. You can use a paper towel to blot away any extra fat, if desired.
If using pre-cooked sausages, cook for 6 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Notes
Be familiar with your brand and type of air fryer as cook time can vary with different models.
Use parchment paper if desired. It doesn't affect the cooking time.
Different kinds of sausages may have different cook times. Thicker sausages will need more time. Chicken sausages may cook faster. Always use a meat thermometer to test for doneness.
Due to the fatty nature of sausages, cooking spray wan't needed.
