Ingredients

  • 8 slices uncooked pork breakfast sausage patties about 12 ounces

Instructions

  • Place sausage patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. For best results, leave a little bit of space between the patties.
  • If patties are frozen: cook at 350 degrees F for about 5 minutes or until patties are defrosted. Turn the heat up to 400 and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes, flipping at the halfway point. Edges should be slightly browned. You can use a paper towel to blot away any extra grease, if desired.
  • If patties are fresh: cook for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F, flipping halfway through. Edges should be slightly browned. You can use a paper towel to blot away any extra fat, if desired.

Notes

  • Pork sausages should reach an internal temperature of 155 degrees F when fully cooked.
  • Batch cook sausages for the week to help with breakfast meal prep.
  • Pair with eggs, cheese and English muffins or biscuits to make breakfast sandwiches.
  • Serve with a side of maple syrup or hot honey sauce for dipping.
