Ever wonder if you can make frozen burgers in the air fryer? The answer is yes! Learn exactly how to make the perfect burger in about 10 minutes for a quick dinner on busy weeknights.

Are you someone who loves the taste of a juicy burger but hates the hassle of frying them up in a lot of grease?
Are you looking for an easy way to enjoy hamburgers without firing up the grill?
Fear not, my friend, because I have the solution to all your burger woes: air fryer frozen burgers. Not only does it cook food in less time, but it will also gives you perfectly juicy burgers without all the excess fat.
Frozen burgers are quick and easy to make and the mess is contained to the air fryer basket. Also, frozen burger patties don't need to be thawed before cooking.
Ingredients
Exact amounts can be found in the recipe card below.
Frozen burgers - we buy one third pound frozen patties from the grocery store. You will not thaw them out before cooking, saving you loads of time! We use all beef hamburger patties.
Salt, black pepper, and seasonings - if the patties are unseasoned, it's important to add plenty of salt, pepper and any other seasonings you may enjoy. We like to add some garlic powder and onion powder, and Montreal steak seasoning. You might like something Cajun inspired, like my Louisiana Rub recipe, or this taco seasoning for a Tex Mex twist.
TIP: You can also brush some ketchup or bbq sauce over the burger before cooking.
Hamburger buns - any variety, or omit for a low carb option
Cheese - choose your favorite like cheddar, American cheese, blue cheese, Swiss...there are endless options.
Your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles
Condiments like mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, bbq sauce

I also highly recommend the Cosori Air 5.8 Nex Gen Air Fryer for cooking 2 patties at once.

Kitchen tips
Air fryers can vary by brand and model. Be sure you're familiar with how yours operates.
Burgers should be cooked in a single layer, not stacked. Depending on the size of your air fryer and the size of your patties, you may need to cook in batches.
The size and thickness of your burgers will affect how long it will take to reach a safe internal temperature.
For best results, cook burgers to a safe minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
How you like your burgers cooked is a personal preference, so adjust time to reach desired result.
Because the air fryer has a non-stick basket, the excess grease is easy to pour away (in the trash, not the sink drain). You can also use a piece of bread placed between the basket and the crisper tray to help absorb the excess fat. Be sure to let the grease cool before discarding.
Common questions
If you're cooking with high heat, the grease released from fatty foods can cause smoking. Another cause of smoking is from food or grease splatters getting on the heating element. If you fear that your air fryer is having an electrical issue, immediately turn it off and unplug it. Reach out to your specific air fryer’s customer service department.
The best way to know if your burgers are done cooking is to use a meat thermometer. Place the thermometer in the center of the patty about halfway through. The meat should register 160 degrees F to be eaten safely.
No! You'll cook them straight from the freezer.
Yes, they are! For extra flavor and nutrition, try serving them on lettuce leaves or on a salad.
