These Air fryer Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are the perfect easy breakfast or snack. The best part is that the air fryer cooks this sweet treat in less time than in the oven so they are great for rushed mornings. Serve warm rolls drizzled in icing glaze or your own frosting.

My Cosori air fryer is one of my favorite cooking appliances. It doesn't take up much space on the counter top and it's so easy to clean. We just pop the basket in the dishwasher and it's ready to go for the next meal.

These air fryer Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are a delicious treat that fit perfectly in the air fryer basket! There's no need to use any additional equipment.

Sweet rolls are a family favorite, but we don't always have time to make homemade cinnamon rolls. So, whenever the craving hits, this is the best way to get that homemade taste cooked up fast.

Refrigerator canned cinnamon rolls - I used Pillsbury brand, but you can substitute with a store brand that is particular to your grocery store.

Cooking spray - this is optional and will depend on the cooking surface of your air fryer basket. What I love about the Cosori air fryer is that the basket is non-stick.

Quick facts

Do I need to pre-heat the air fryer before cooking?

You don't need to pre-heat the air fryer for this cinnamon roll recipe.

How many minutes does it take to make air fryer cinnamon rolls?

It only takes about 7-8 minutes to make perfectly cooked cinnamon rolls in the air fryer.

Top tips

  • I used the Cosori XL air fryer to make the recipe. It's great for a family of four.
  • Cooking times can vary depending on the size of your air fryer. There are so many different brands and sizes available, and they will all cook a bit differently.
  • Check you cinnamon rolls at the 6 minute mark and see how they are coming along. When adding more cook time, it's best to add in one minute increments because cinnamon rolls can brown quickly.
  • I don't find it necessary to use aluminum foil to make the recipe since it's not messy.
  • You can use a piece of parchment paper if desired. These pre-cut parchment paper liners made especially for the air fryer are the best!

How to store

Store leftover cinnamon rolls at room temperature for a day or two. You can keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for longer, about 5 days.

Rewarm in the microwave for best results.

Cinnamon roll icing/topping ideas

  • Caramel whipped cream
  • Cream cheese frosting
  • Maple syrup
  • Caramel sauce
  • Finely diced nuts like pecans or walnuts
