How to make air fryer s'mores

Here’s the best way to make air fryer s’mores with delicious results every time:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Line the air fryer basket or tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup, if desired.
  3. Break the graham crackers into squares and place half of them in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Cut a little piece off a large marshmallow then press the sticky side down on top of each graham square.
  5. Air fry marshmallows for 3-4 minutes. Keep a close eye—the top of the marshmallow should turn golden brown.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and immediately place a piece of chocolate (or chocolate chips, squares, or bar halves) on the marshmallow’s sticky side.
  7. Top with the remaining graham cracker halves and gently press down to create your perfect s’mores sandwich.

💡 You can also make air fryer s’mores dip by layering chocolate and marshmallows in an oven-safe dish, then air frying until melted and bubbly. Serve with graham crackers for dipping!

Top tips

  • For the best part—that gooey marshmallow—use large marshmallows or stack mini marshmallows together.
  • Try mores bars or use small pieces of different chocolates to experiment with flavors.
  • Want crispy graham crackers? Pre-toast them in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes before assembling.
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed for even browning.

If you love chocolate, try my popular No Bake Chocolate Pie!

Different Ways to Customize

One of the great things about this easy dessert recipe is how versatile it is. Try using:

  • Vegan marshmallows and gluten-free grahams for dietary needs
  • White chocolate and freeze-dried strawberries
  • Dark chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt
  • A layer of peanut butter or Nutella for added richness

Storage and reheating

  • Wrap them in foil and store at room temperature for up to a day.
  • Reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes to re-melt the chocolate and marshmallow.
